Experience Description

A good introduction to falconry. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the countryside with a Harris Hawk. Learn about these amazing birds of prey and watch them interact with their environment and flying to the glove for food. The experience last for 2 hours with a meet and greet at Hunts Court, then moving on to the flying grounds which is 5 minutes away. Experiences start at either 11am or 1pm Please be aware this is a natural experience and while interacting with us on the walk , the hawk will demonstrate natural hunting behaviour. The countryside we will be walking in consists of hills and slopes and over stiles, so an element of physical fitness is required. Please wear appropriate clothing (no fur trims on hats or coats, as the hawks may think it is a rabbit!!) and footwear for walking/waterproof. You are welcome to take photographs during the experience.
