Experience Description

A good VIP introduction to falconry where you will learn to fly and handle a Harris hawk. We start the day with a bacon roll and hot drinks. Then you will learn about the history and art of falconry and learn to fly and handle a Harris Hawk. This is then followed by a hawk walk where we enjoy a leisurely stroll through the countryside with a Harris Hawk where you will watch them interact with their environment and flying to the glove for food. The experience last for approximately 3.5 hours with a meet and greet at Hunts Court. The VIP Hawk and Falconry Experience starts at either 11am or 1pm and is for one person plus their spectator. Please be aware this is a natural experience and while interacting with us on the walk , the hawk will demonstrate natural hunting behaviour. The countryside we will be walking in consists of hills and slopes and over stiles, so an element of physical fitness is required. Please wear appropriate clothing (no fur trims on hats or coats, as the hawks may think it is a rabbit!!) and footwear for walking/waterproof. You are welcome to take photographs during the experience.
